THE FORT WASHINGTON
EXIT (EXIT 339)
OF THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE |
Get on Route 309 North. Go 2 miles to the
Susquehanna Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto
Susquehanna Road. Stay on Susquehanna Road for 2.3 miles. You will go
under the PA Turnpike overpass (just after passing the Cumberland Farms
convenience store) and the Wooler Plant will be immediately on your
right. (The plant is a series of Tan/Brown buildings up a steep driveway
after passing under the Turnpike overpass)
A. From the Northeast Extension
of the PA Turnpike (Now named Route 476):
Go South to the Norristown Interchange (Exit 333) and get on PA Turnpike
East. (Route 276) Get off the First Exit (Exit 339, about 5 miles),
which is Fort Washington.
Now follow directions above to Robert Wooler Co.
B. From Route 309: (Allentown and
Points South)
Go South past Montgomeryville. Stay on the expressway section Of Route
309. Continue for approximately 5 miles and exit at the "Ambler"
exit. At the bottom of the ramp, take a right and proceed to the first
traffic light, which is Susquehanna Road. Turn Left and Stay on
Susquehanna Road for approximately 3.5 miles. You will go under the PA
Turnpike overpass (just after passing the Cumberland Farms convenience
store) and the Wooler Plant will be immediately on your right. (The
plant is a series of Tan/Brown buildings up a steep driveway after passing
under the Turnpike overpass)
C. From Northern New Jersey/New
England States:
(By Various Southern Routes connecting to the NJ Turnpike) Go South on the
New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6 (Connection to the Pennsylvania Turnpike).
Get onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Once you have crossed the Bridge into Pennsylvania, you will travel West
on the Turnpike for Approx. 20 miles to Exit 339 (Fort Washington). From
Exit 339, Follow directions above to the Robert
Wooler Co.
A. From Southern PA (Delaware
County) and Delaware:
Take Mid-County Expressway (Blue Route) North to its end at the PA
Turnpike.
Get on PA Turnpike traveling East. Exit at Fort Washington, Exit #339 (EZ-PASS
or 50 cent toll) Get over to the right lane immediately after exiting tollbooth and
enter first ramp on the right - Merge onto Route 309 North.
Go to 2nd exit - Exit at Ambler - Susquehanna Road Turn right at the
bottom of the ramp. Proceed for approximately two (2) miles, Passing
through three (3) traffic lights.
Just past the third light you will see on your right "Operating
Engineers" Building just in front of the PA Turnpike and on your left
a "Cumberland Farms" convenience store.
You will pass by these two buildings, go under the first underpass (This
is the PA Turnpike) and the entrance to Robert Wooler is on your right,
immediately after you pass under the PA Turnpike.
B. From Philadelphia International
Airport
Exit Airport Complex and get on I-95 South. Continue for Approximately
6 miles to Route 476.
Exit onto Route 476 - North, Plymouth Meeting. Continue on Route
476 North for its entire length, Approximately 22 miles.
Route 476 will merge into the Pennsylvania Turnpike. (approach large toll
booth in right hand or middle lane) Proceed through toll booth and Take
PA Turnpike East, (Route 276 East).
Continue approximately 5 miles and get off at Exit 339, Fort Washington.

Traveling East on the Pennsylvania
Turnpike, Route 276, Exit
At Fort Washington, Exit # 339. Follow directions "From the Fort
Washington Exit (Exit #339) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike", above.
